LifeSmarts is designed to involve everyone! Government officials, business leaders, labor representatives, community leaders, media personalities, educators, school administrators, and others serve as volunteer officials at state and national competitions, coordinate state programs, recruit students and coach teams.

Write LifeSmarts Questions
Each summer, NCL staff and volunteers writes 1,500 new LifeSmarts questions to keep the program content current and relevant for teen consumers. Share your expertise in personal finance, health and safety, technology, the environment or consumer rights and responsibilities, by helping us write questions for the upcoming program year. Become a State Coordinator
LifeSmarts seeks state coordinators in those states currently without a state partner.

Volunteer at the National Competition

The National Consumers League seeks representatives from community-minded businesses, unions, nonprofit organizations, trade associations, universities, and government agencies, who are expert in one or more of the 5 LifeSmarts topic areas, to help officiate at the LifeSmarts National Competition.

About Volunteering

Each spring, the National Consumers League recruits volunteers to serve as officials at the LifeSmarts National Championship.
