LifeSmarts Coaches
If your work or volunteer activities have you involved with middle- or high-school youth, consider forming a team and becoming a LifeSmarts coach! LifeSmarts is an excellent way for adults to demonstrate their commitment to consumer education for young adults. As an interactive educational program, LifeSmarts teaches students the skills they need to be consumer savvy in today's marketplace. Learn more.
Coach Responsibilities
The coach is the adult leader responsible for preparing teams for LifeSmarts. Past coaches have been high school teachers, 4-H leaders, home school educators, interested parents and community leaders who work with youth. Responsibilities include recruiting and educating the team in LifeSmarts topic areas, preparing teams for competitions, collecting and submitting permission forms and chaperoning teams at in-person competitions.
